Christopher Norton
Christopher Norton
Christopher Norton was imprisoned in the Tower on 6th April 1570 for plotting to overthrow Queen Elizabeth I. He was taken to Tyburn on 27th May 1570 where he was hanged, drawn and quartered with his head displayed on London Bridge.

James Bainham
James Bainham was imprisoned in the Tower on 19th April 1532 for withdrawing his religious recantation. He was taken to Smithfield London, and burned at the stake on 30th April 1532

William Thurske Abbot of Fontains
William Thurske Abbot of Fontains
William Thurske was imprisoned in the Tower of in April 1527 for his part on the Pilgrimage of Grace. He was held there for six weeks at a coast of six shillings and 8 pence per week. He was taken to Tyburn in London on 2nd June 1537 where he was hanged, drawn and quartered.

Robert Aske
Robert Aske was imprisoned in the Tower in april 1537 for being one of the leaders of the Pilgrimage of Grace. He was held in the Tower for eight weeks at a cost of six shillings and eight pence per week. He was then moved to York where, at his own request, he was hanged until dead, before being drawn and quartered, on 28th June 1537.
